Advisor, Data & Analytics Reporting
Lead data and analytics strategy and execution for Cargill Deicing Solutions.
Experience
I've worked across operations, analytics, product strategy, coaching, and consulting. Every role taught me something different, but they all reinforced the same lesson: good data work begins with understanding people and the problems they're trying to solve.
About
I've always been drawn to interesting problems, wherever they lead. That's taken me through operations, analytics, product, consulting, and education because the most rewarding work rarely fits neatly into one discipline. Today, that breadth helps me connect technical work with the people and organizations it's meant to serve.
Lead data and analytics strategy and execution for Cargill Deicing Solutions.
I own a solo analytics practice focused on providing small businesses with data and analytics services. I have experience providing services like spatial analytics, digital marketing analysis, and data strategy consulting.
Led Cargill's self-service analytics strategy, supporting more than 60,000 users worldwide across Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and KNIME.
Key project: Alteryx to KNIME Migration. Reduced license spend by $1.7 million annually by migrating from Alteryx to KNIME. I developed the migration strategy, led the change management campaign, and supervised and managed budgets for a team of migration consultants.
Coached a community of 30,000+ users on analytics best practices, data supply chain, and how to present data to decision makers. Primarily supported Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau while also coaching best practices across the full analytics stack from data ingestion to end-user experience.
Key project: Global Data Challenge. Co-led a six-month internal competition focused on teaching the community how to create value with data. I organized and developed business training, hands-on analytics tool training, and the final showcase event. The challenge had 2,200 participants from over 20 countries who generated over 140 data product ideas.
Led development of business analytics and self-service metric reporting for the North American region. Evaluated business needs and translated them into actionable KPIs, analytic projects, and data requests. Worked with external and internal descriptive data to create prescriptive and predictive modeling. Communicated insights using data visualization, custom analytic applications, and other reporting methods.
Mentored and developed capability within the region on analytic tools and methods including Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft Office, forecasting methodology, statistical analysis, and best practices for presenting analytic findings.
Key project: Brazil Truck Sourcing RFP. Worked on a short-term assignment in São Paulo, Brazil teaching best practices and coaching the Latin American team on bid analysis during its first major truck RFP project.
